How can We both shine

When I go the grocery Store I see an entire aisle dedicated to nothing but bread and I see all kinds of people reaching for all different kinds of bread and when I go back to the store on a certain day I see the stock people stocking those breads back up, why? because everybody has a different desire for different things and they may even try the bread that you like or the bread that Tom likes or Sally likes, But by the end of the day all of that bread has to be replaced. In fact I have to pick up two different kinds of bread because I like Multi-grain while my Grandson likes White bread (I secretly only get whole-wheat for him but that’s our secret). So not long ago I had to do a little research I wanted to know what people looked for in a certain product. I asked people that had products I asked people that didn’t have products, why? just because you have a pot it doesn’t mean that you don’t have an opinion, in fact I want your opinion because I want to see what opinion are you going to give me. Will it be the truth or something made up. This is what I found half of the people that had products themselves the first thing they said to me is I have my own product but and then they may have given me the answer or they didn’t respond, (but I could see that they did receive the request ) The ones that I excepted to answer did answer without all of that other stuff and let me tell you why I knew which ones those were, it’s because I see them daily promoting others as well as themselves. They are not fearful of their light going out. It was what I expected. People won’t even like your page if they feel that your a competitor. And I also find that when people are revealing their products online on social media on different platforms all throughout the comments all you see is a lot of people saying oh I make this or that or I sell this , I sell that. why is it so hard for us to allow other people to shine without feeling that our light is going to dim itself. NO ONE CAN DIM YOUR LIGHT. It is possible for all of us to shine at the same time, it doesn’t matter what color a light is so long as we allow other people to shine and it is more beautiful when we all shine together. Take me and my cousin for instance (He don’t know about this blog so don’t nobody tell Him😉) He has this wonderful product that smells so good and it’s beautifully designed , natural, organic and people love it. “Shea Better Butter.“ On the day he wanted to reveal his products I also wanted to talk to him about a new line I was ready to reveal but when I opened up some of my websites and I saw his product I can’t even explain to you the love and the joy and the happiness that I felt for him. All I wanted to do was share in that joy with him and help him anyway that I could. Why because I love him, I’m proud of him, and I know that together we can both shine. That’s how we were raised, we weren’t raised to despise each other or anyone else. We were raised to feel that if I allowed you to shine that I could shine right beside you, We can shine together. We were raised in a family that everybody shined and everybody took on their own place and even if those places looked similar we still helped each other to shine. So I wanted to wait and then put my product out there, why? because that’s what we do when we truly want for others, that which we want for ourselves, that’s what love is about , it isn’t about either, or, this or that, you or me. (It didn’t hurt anythin, it did not matter if I revealed the next day or the day after) And you still can reveal on the same day, it’s ok, In fact I was so relieved because I had someone else to collaborate with on so many levels because my mind was overwhelmed at times and I wanted someone that can help me, someone that can guide me and give me some information or point me in the direction that they went, why?because my direction is not always the right direction and there’s many roads that lead us to our destination. We need one another and if you’re not dealing with someone that’s on the same level doing the same thing that you’re doing then you’re not gonna get the correct information that you need because only when a person is in that situation or has been in that situation can they give you the correct information that you need to strive. While I know that deep down inside no one probably purposely want to act this way, it has become ingrained in some of us and it goes all the way back from Century to century which is why it is so difficult for some of us to even get ahead. We have to allow the next person to shine and have the security within ourselves to shine beside them. It’s OK to let your brother and sister shine, and if Someone ask me for direction, I’m not going to give them “well I went to school, or you have to read this, “ no! I’m going to help them to the best of my ability to get to where I am without having to go through where I went. There’s nothing wrong in that. Until next time.
